58 -- UHF WIRELESS INTERCOM SETS SOL DCA100-97-R-0050 DUE 051697 POC William Blitgen, Contract Specialist (703) 607-4605 Facsimile (703) 607-4611 or George Robertson, Contracting Officer (703) 607-4603 The Defense Information Systems Agency has a requirement for twenty-two (22) UHF wireless intercom sets with the following salient characteristics: (1) be in the UHF frequency range; (2) 110/240 VAC, 50/60 Hz compatible; (3) capable of full duplex operation; (4) minimum 2,000 foot range; (5) have a maximum output power of 150 mW; (6) have tone coded channels; (7) able to integrate with ClearCom model PS-20 power supply; (8) able to interface with standard telephone equipment; (9) have minimum of four belt packs with single element headsets; and (10) a base station with a single element headset. THEY ARE TO BE USED IN A SPECIALIZED MILITARY MISSION BOTH IN THE U.S. AND OVERSEAS, AND HAVE SIGNIFICANT FUNCTIONAL FEATURES BEYOND THE TYPE OF SETS TYPICALLY USED IN A FAST-FOOD DRIVE-THROUGH. All interested parties must submit a written request for a copy of the solicitation within 15 calendar days of this notification. The request should be written on company letterhead, the title of the requirement, to include the solicitation number and contracting officer's name, address/code and point of contact.
