This synopsis publicizes the Government's intent to reissue a Request for Offer (RFO) for assorted rocket hardware, including: Nose Cones, 96 each; Adapters, 32 each; Fins, 160 each; rebuilt Kits, 40 each; and IRMA Rings, 34 each. Quantities given represent an approximate maximum number of each item, to be purchased under an indefinite quantity contract over a three-year period beginning about July 1, 1997. Delivery schedule will vary between 60 and 330 days. Delivery will be to the GSFC/Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, VA 23337. The RFO package containing the necessary drawings will be available on or about April 16, 1997, at a nonrefundable cost of $50.00. Requests are to be made to NASA/GSFC, Mickey M. Merritt, Code 218, Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, VA 23337. Payment must be in the form of a company or certified check or money order only which must accompany the request. No personal checks or cash will be accepted. Checks shall be made payable to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency. Firms that responded to the first solicitation notice will be sent a copy of this re-issuance.
