Furnish, pick-up, deliver, inventory, clean, dry, fold, hang and sort miscellaneous linens and garments for the VA Medical and Regional Office Center, Honolulu, HI. The VA will give levels of inventory required for each item, and contractor will see that the inventory levels are maintained daily via a cart exchange system. Linens and garments will be furnished by the contractor to include, but not limited to: bath blankets, thermal blankets, gowns, pillow cases, Pajama coats, pajama trousers, twin and draw sheets, bath towels, washcloths, and pads. Facility is a 60 bed center for the aging. Estimated annual usage of laundry services is 215,000 lbs or 383,000 pieces. Solicitation will be available by 4/14/97 and offers will be due in to the contracting officer no later than 3:00 PM Hawaiian Time.
