Z -- CONSTRUCT RALS TOWER SOL N62472-94-B-5259 POC, for plans and specs fax, (908) 323-1471 The general description of work as originally published in the CBD has a revised scope of work as follows: Base Bid construct new control tower. Tower shall be approximately 110 feet in height and shall include appropriate power supply, lighting, heating, ventilation/air conditioning and fire suppression systems. Demolition of existing control tower shall be included in contract. Bid Option 1. Shall include an engineering floor/space in tower. Bid Option 2. An elevator. Performance period for Base Bid shall be 180 calendar days. Performance period for Bid Option 1 and Bid Option 2 shall be as follows: If awarded within 60 days of the base contract award date, the contract completion date shall remain unchanged. On work specified as Option 1 and Option 2, if awarded 61 days or more from the base contract award date, the contract completion date will be extended 30 calendar days per option on work specified. The contract includes the clause titled "Evaluation of Options" (FAR 52.217-5) Except when it is determined in accordance with FAR 17.206(b) not to be in the Government's best interest, the Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement.
