U.S. Penitentiary, Camp, and Intensive Confinement Center, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, requires services of a General Surgeon to provide services to inmate patients. The schedule is estimated to consist of one session per month. Contract will cover one base year and four option years. Contractor must have: graduated from an AMA accredited school of medicine; completed a residency in general surgery at a school/hospital accredited by the AMA; have a valid license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania; be in good standing in the healthcare community; and, have medical liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00 per occurrence and $3,000,000.00 aggregate. Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available on 4/14/97 and the date and time for receipt of offers is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., 5/14/97.
