Due (90C), (918) 683-3261, Ext. 210 Part II of III. c. Contractor
shall participate in activities of the medical center that are designed
to meet the requirements of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of
Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) pertaining to Quality Improvement (QI)
for which medical staff are responsible, i.e. maintain medical records
and participate in peer review. The contractor shall be responsible
for assuring that medical records are completed in a timely fashion
satisfying VHA and Medical Center Policies and JCAHO requirements
within times documented on the chart. d. Evaluate and report an
incident or adverse event in accordance with current VA or medical
Center policy and procedures. 3. Scheduling Requirements: a. Work
Hours: 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. All
physicians who are to work under this contract are to be scheduled by
the contractor. The 10 holidays observed by the Federal government are
New Years Day, Washington's Birthday, Martin Luther King's Birthday,
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day,
Thanksgiving and Christmas or any other day specifically declared by
the President of the United States to be a National Holiday. b.
Contracting Personnel will be paid only for actual performance at TOPC.
Contracting Personnel will not be required to be on call or standby and
will not be paid for on call services or given standby pay. A record
keeping system of contractor days and hours worked will be established.
4. Qualifications: Personnel assigned by the contractor to perform the
services covered by this contract shall be licensed in a State,
Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of
Columbia. The qualifications of such personnel shall also be subject to
review by the Chief Medical Officer TOPC and approval by the VA
Facility Director. Physicians assigned by the contractor to perform the
services in any resulting contract shall be U.S. citizens and
credentialed and privileged in accordance with VA regulations.
Physicians assigned by the contractor to perform the services must be
certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. It is also
desirable that physicians be currently ACLS certified and maintain that
certification for the duration of any resulting contract. 5. Personnel
Policy: The contractor shall be responsible for protecting the
personnel furnishing services under this contract. To carry out this
responsibility the contractor shall provide the following for those
personnel: worker's compensation, professional liability insurance,
health examinations, income tax withholding and social security
withholding. Payments for sick leave, vacation time, or any other
fringe benefits are the responsibility of the contractor. The parties
agree that such personnel shall not be considered VA employees. The
Government has the right to determine whether or not any physician is
appropriate or in the best interest of the Government, not subject ot
appeal by the physician. The Government shall not pay any finders fee
for physicians recruited in conjunction with these services. 6.
Billing: Billing will be made in arrears for services performed and
must be supported by an itemized breakdown indicating the name of the
physician, times and number of hours worked each day. Provision

acquisition, NOTE: Offeror must submit criteria in accordance with
52.212-2. Provision 52.212-2 EVALUATION -- COMMERCIAL ITEMS, is
