management and operating contractor for the Department of Energy (DOE)
at the Idaho National Engineering & Environmental Laboratory (INEEL)
is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) on field tested waste
minimization technologies to be used during excavation and retrieval of
buried hazardous/radioactive waste in a variety of matrices.
Technologies could include, but are not limited to: trash/waste
compactors, sizing devices, etc. This is not a Request for Proposal,
but a Request for Information. This RFI will close 15 days after
publication. Companies interested in supplying technical information on
field tested waste minimization technologies should send their
response, including a description of the technology, applicable
application techniques, MSDS if applicable, qualifications and
