The work includes removal, cleaning, inspection, repair and reinstallation of gate numbers 5 and 6; removal and replacement of lagging; painting; removal and replacement of gate number 6 Anchor Block; and removal and replacement of Hydraulic and Electrical systems. The Contractor shall be required to commence work under this contract within 10 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed, to prosecute the work diligently and to complete the entire work not later than October 24, 1997.
