Y -- INSTALL BUS SHELTERS SOL IFB 527-22-97 DUE 050697 POC Laralee Horowitz, Contracting Officer Provide all necessary labor and material to install two bus shelters at the temporary main entrance of the DVA Medical Center, 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11209 as per drawings and specifications. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to: (1) Provide and install two bus shelters from Columbia Equipment Co. or an approved equal. One shelter shall be 16'-0" x 16'-0". The second shelter shall be 16'-0" x 12'-6". (2) The contractor shall excavate and dispose of all dirt and debris to pour two concrete pads. Contractor shall pour 3000 psi concrete. (3) Contractor shall provide and install eight bollards as shown on the drawing. (4) Contractor shall provide and install 2" rigid conduit to pick up power for the Bus Shelter. (5) Contractor shall install light fixtures, heater and exhaust fan in each shelter. Standard Industrial Classification is 1542, General Contractors. Construction cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation to issue o/a 4/4/97. Completion time for project is 120 days. Request for bid packages must be made in writing. (0077)
