SBA 8(A) CERTIFICATION WORKSHOP IN OAKLAND, CA. The East Bay Conversion and Reinvestment Commission (EBCRC), the Northern California Minority Opportunity Committee (MBOC) and the Office of Congressman Ronald Dellums is sponsoring a one day workshop on Monday, March 24, 1997 from 9am to 4:30pm at the Federal Building in Oakland, for local Small Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (SDBEs) in the environmental field. The Department of the Navy, Engineering Field Activity (EFA), West will be providing information on the contracting process such as the selection of SBA 8(a) contractors and contract negotiations. The San Francisco District Office of the Small Business Adminstration (SBA) will provide an orientation briefing regarding the SBA 8(a) Prgram. The San Francisco Minority Business Development Center (SFMBDC) will be on-site to provide the technical assistance necessary to assist you with your SBA 8(a) application at no cost.
