H -- PHASE INSPECTIONS ON CESSNA CITATION II SOL NAAN6000704040 DUE 051697 POC Sheila Anderson (816)426-7267, ext. 240 The U.S. Dept. of Commerce, NOAA, intends to purchase the following services under the authority of FAR Part 13 for the Aircraft Operations Center (AOC). Provide all labor, materials, equipment and parts necessary to perform the following inspections on a Cessna Citation II, N52RF: Phase 50 wing spar ultra sound inspection, Phase 1-5 inspections, Phase B inspections, Phase 7 inspection (drag chute), Phase 8 inspection (both engines), Phase 18 inspection (fuel filter), Phase 20 inspection (pilot/static system), Phase 21 inspection (transponder system), Phase 22 inspection (oxygen cylinder), Phase 23 inspection (all engine fire bottles). Inspections will also include the following; check lead acid battery, perform horizontal stabilizer ultrasonic inspection, comply with service letter SL-28-10 (current revision) and comply with service letter SL-32-61. Inspections will take place during the period of August 1, 1997 through September 15, 1997. The aircraft N52RF, will be operating in the Pacific Northwestconducting coastal mapping operations prior to these maintenance services. The aircraft will be flown to the contractor's facility by NOAA personnel prior to commencement of services. Due to the location of the aircraft, only quotes from vendors on the West Coast will be accepted. The following criteria will apply: (1) Must have the CE-SSO aircraft on FAA Repair Station Certificate, (2) Must be insured for $1.5 million for the time the aircraft is at the facility, (3) Must have performed similar maintenance on this aircraft type within the preceding three months. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued on April 17, 1997 and will close on May 16, 1997.
