delivery of regularly scheduled weekly radio program units required for
distribution to outlets of the Armed Forces Radio and Television
Services (AFRTS) for a period of one basic year and four option years.
A requirements contract is contemplated. Most of the duplication will
be performed on music-quality two-hour (C120) audio cassettes from an
estimated 14 one-hour government furnished 1/4 inch master tapes on a
weekly basis. Some duplication will be performed on music-quality
one-hour (C60) audio cassettes from an estimated 30 one-hour government
furnished 1/4 inch masters irregularly scheduled throughout the
contract period. An estimated total of 21, 840 two hour and 3000
one-hour audio cassettes will be duplicated during the contract period.
Mastering will be at the discretion of the contractor.
Contractor-furnished supplies required to perform services include
Government-approve, high-quality industrial/professional type audio
cassettes (tapes and shells) withplastic protective cases, cassette
tapes, protective cases, cassette labels for both sides, and cardboard
shipping containers. Services also include inspection of masters,
labelling, packaging, sealing, weighing, postage and return of master
tapes . Required delivery is 14 days from the date of receipt of master
tapes to the date duplications are delivered to U.S.P.S. Performance is
required to start 01 Jun 97 through 31 May 98 and proposals are
