451-5629 The contractor shall furnish all labor, management,
supervision, tools, materials, equipment, incidental engineering, and
transportation and similar items necessary to provide operations,
maintenance and repair services specified and to maintain facilities as
described herein, including manning of a trouble call desk; performing
emergency work, urgent work, routine service work; performing
preventive maintenance; performing routine recurring work; implementing
a facility inspection program; and performing indefinite quantity work
items of maintenance, repair and minor construction as designated by
the contracting officer. The services provided by this contract are for
the Energy Monitoring and Control and Support systems located in
Building NH-100, Naval Hospital, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The
support systems include an Electronic Security System, Public Address
Area Page System, Radio Entertainment Sound System, Intercommunication
System, Code Blue Cardiac Alert System, and the hospital fire
AlarmSystem. Also included is the security system equipment located in
Building NH-118 located adjacent to the Naval Hospital which is a
component of the Naval Hospital security system. All systems shall be
operated and maintained twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days
per week. All systems shall be optimally operated and properly
maintained in such a manner that they fulfill the design function and
within the capabilities of the installed systems. Operation and
maintenance shall be in accordance with the manufacturers written
instructions and in compliance with applicable hospital regulations and
procedures including standing orders and special orders. This is a
combination firm-fixed price and indefinite quantity contract to
commence 15 day after issuance of award. The government may extend the
term of the contract for a term of one (1) to twelve (12) months, not
to exceed sixty (60) months. The proposed contract is a 100% small
business set aside, the size standard for which is a concern, including
allits affiliates, having an average annual sale or receipts for its
preceding three fiscal years not in excess of $12,500,000. Plans and
specifications will be available on or about 4 April 1997 until supply
