The project consists of furnishing all manpower, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to construct a cross dock building consisting of approximately 30,000 sf; construct a dispatcher's office of approximately 1,000 sf; and construct a maintenance shop/temporary battery room addition of approximately 5,200 sf at the Bulk Mail Center, 34301 9th Avenue, South, Federal Way, Washington in accordance with plans and specifications. Work shall include, but not limited to: constructing steel framed buildings on concrete slab on grade and concrete foundation, lighting, HVAC, fire alarm system, overhead doors, dock levelers, and some demolition work. Time of completion: All work must be completed within 210 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed (NTP); however, the Battery Room must be completed within the first 150 calendar days after receipt of NTP. Estimated Cost Range is: $3.5M to $3.9M Pre-proposal conference and walk through will be held on March 28, 1997, commencing at 8:30 a.m. at theBulk Mail Center, 34301 9th Avenue South, Federal Way, WA; please meet at the main lobby entrance to the Bulk Mail Center.
