N -- PROVIDE/INSTALL SOUND REINFORCEMENT SYSTEMS, US BANKRUPTCY COURT, RIVERSIDE, CA SOL OXHSFDX-97-009 DUE 040797 POC Carol Smith Furnish all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and expertise necessary to provide, install, and test complete and fully operational sound reinforcement systems in four courtrooms, in the new US Federal Bankruptcy Court in Riverside, California. The provision of courtroom recorders will be an optional contract line item. The sound reinforcement system includes voice reinforcement, bench conference, playback, simultaneous interpretation, assisted listening, recording, phone interface and control system. The work includes but is not limited to supply/fabrication/testing and adjustment of sound reinforcement and video equipment, preparation of operations and maintenance manuals, user training, warranty maintenance, and the repair and refinishing of all surfaces damaged during the installation of the system components and cabling. The contractor shall have calibrated test equipment of sufficient quality to permit repair and adjustnment of system components to manufacture specifications. Award will be made to the responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest-price. Estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. Bids will be solicited for the proposed contract on an unrestricted basis as to business size. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about March 7, 1997.
