Herbicide application service is to provide effective control of undesirable weeds and grasses and to promote the growth of Bermuda grass across the treatment area. This service shall require two sprayings in the months of May and August 1997. Contractor operations shall be in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations. The herbicides shall be applied by trained and certified licenses in accordance with the manufacturer's label instructions. All pesticide applicators must have current Louisiana State certification to apply right-of-way herbicides. This is 100% set aside for small business with a small business being defined as a concern, including its affiliates whose annual average sales or receipts for its preceding three fiscal years does not exceed $5.0 million -- SIC Code 0782.
