B -- GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES SOL DACW69-97-R-0012 POC Jan Edwards, CONTRACT SPECIALIST 304-529-5641 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District intends to procure a contract for Limited Geotechnical with Drilling Services. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, supplies, and materials to determine the type, nature, characteristics, and present extent and condition of various materials located in the Huntington District. All responsive proposals shall be evaluated by utilizing the following factors: (1) Technical knowledge and experience; (2) Ability of the offeror to provide the required physical plant and supplies; (3) Supervision and Administration; (4) Safety; (5) Quality Control; (6) Location of the Firm in the General Geographic Area. Contract will be a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery type contract, competitively negotiated. Contract will be awarded for two years. Award will be made as a whole to the offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and has been determined to be the advantageous to the Government, all factors considered. Contractor will be required toprovide one drilling rig to the work site within 24 hours of notification; two rigs within 72 hours of notification; and 6 rigs within a week of notification. (0045)
