SMITH (508) 233-4368 (Site Code DAAK60) The U.S. Army Soldier Systems Command has a requirement for the production of two cold weather clothing systems for the Special Operations Forces; one with a wind resistant outer layer and one with a non-wind resistant outer layer. Each system is comprised of four layers: 1) Silk weight underwear; crew neck shirt and drawers. 2) Mid weight stretch underwear; zip neck shirt and drawers. 3) Stretch overall with rainbow drop seat. 4) Heavy weight fleece jacket. One Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract is anticipated to acquire a minimum quantity of 50 and a maximum quantity of 30,000 systems over a five year period. This acquisition will be conducted using Best Value procedures. Proposal Evaluation Factors will include price, past performance in the manufacturing of knitwear, fleece items and wind resistant fleece fabrics, and other factors.
