Subcontract sources are being sought for the purchase of one Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Turn/Mill Center which will be used to manufacture miniature spacecraft components, instruments, and prototypes. Turn/Mill must provide 4 linear axes and 2 rotary axes. Linear resolution of 0.001 mm linear and minimum axis travels of 200 mm (main and auxiliary spindle slides), 300 mm (tool slide horizontal), 80 mm (tool slide vertical). Rotary axis shall have 360 degree capability with rotary resolutions of 0.010 degrees on the main spindle and 0.1 degree on the auxiliary spindle.
