M -- PACK STATION SERVICES AND FACILITIES POC Peggy Williams 209-565-3103 The National Park Service is seeking a concessioner to operate, under a 4-year permit, a pack station providing pack and saddle animal services and facilities within the Cedar Grove area and a guided horse ride service and facilities within the Grant Grove area of Kings Canyon National Park. This business would be operated for the public under the provisions of a Concession Permit. The Cedar Grove Pack Station is located at an elevation of 4,500 feet; the Grant Grove Stables is located at approximately 6,500 feet; both are in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Both are summer seasonal operations serving visitors to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The existing operator has a preference in the renewal of this concession permit. The award will be fully competitive based upon the requirements of this Prospectus.
