The Department seeks a contractor to provide assessment and analysis of building conformity with respect to the Fair Housing Amendment Act of 1988. The Act requires newly constructed multifamily dwellings be designed and constructed for accessibility to disabled persons. The contractor will survey a nationally representative sample of multifamily developments to measure the extent of conformity with the accessibility provisions of the Act. It is anticipated that a competitive contract award will be made on a cost reimbursement basis. The period of performance is proposed for 24 months from date of award.
