The Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC)Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure on a full and open competitive basis 1.5 Tesla (T) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services for the Radiology Department, Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, Virginia. These services shall consist of: (1) delivery, set-up, and ultimate removal of turnkey MRI facility, (2) operation of this facility by contractor provided full-time staff, consisting of but not limited to one radiologist, one nurse, four technologists, two receptionists, and one transcriptionist, and (3) complete maintenance and housekeeping of the MRI facility. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price contract will result from the solicitation. The resultant contract, will provide for a base period of performance encompassing four months, plus one twelve month option and four (4) one month options. The standard industrial classification number for this procurement is 8071. The solicitation will require the submission of cost/price and technical proposals.
