This is a market survey to locate additional or alternate sources for procurement of the AN/PRC-112 Radio Set, NSN: 5820-01-279-5450, Part Number: 01-P21261J001 and KY-913 Program Loader, NSN: 7025-01-279-5308, Part Number: 01-P21700J001. The current source for this equipment is Motorola Inc., Scottsdale, AZ. Complete detailed technical data for the manufacture and acceptance of this equipment is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing alternate equipment must so indicate in writing to Commander, US Army CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-A-MM(Echeverria), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of the purchase order if the supplier is a vendor to the current source, or a statement from the current source demonstrating that the supplier can in fact supply items that will be physically and functionally interchangeable at the repair parts level with the units that the current source supplies for these NSNs. Successful suppliers may be required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. Only units that have satisfactorily completed testing for this application will be procured.
