Scope of work includes, but is not limited to providing demolition and replacement of existing ceiling systems, lighting, HVAC distribution, electrical and telecommunication systems, office partitioning and finishers, and elevator lobby materials for the 16th, 20th, 21st, and 27th floors of the JCK Federal Building. The entire project area of approximately 80,000 square feet will be unoccupied during construction and demolition with the exception of the 27th floor computer facilities which will remain in operation throughout the entire project duration. The completion time for this project is 270 days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Specifications will be available on or about March 1, 1997. This will be a negotiated procurement; no information concerning bids will be available until after award. This procurement is set aside to small business concerns only. The small business size standard for this project is $17 million. Currently, funds are not available.
