Hemmer, 206/512-8885 The Washington National Guard has the requirement for paving of a vehicle parking area at the Air National Guard Base at Camp Murray, Tacoma, WA. This procurement will be solicited as "UNRESTRICTED" with the Evaluation Preference included for Small Disadvantaged Businesses as per Contract Policy Letter, CPL 96-8, dated 18 October 1996, contract clause 52.219-7008. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and other necessary items to complete this project. General description of the project includes regrading, provide drainage systems, and paving with asphalt approximately 75,000 SF of parking area. Estimated construction cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. The contruction performance period for the entire project will be 150 calendar days from "NOTICE TO PROCEED". Solicitation documents will be provided to prime contractors only. Interested prime contractors may obtain one soliciation package at no cost. Requests for solicitation packages and plan holders lists must be in writing, either through the mail or by facsimile, with the company name, complete address, telephone number and fax number. Telephonic requests will not be accepted. Solicitation documents will be available o/a 19 February 1997. Bid opening date will be o/a 19 March 1997 at 2:00 p.m. local time.
