The Government intends to procure the following under the Simplified Acquisition procedures: The purchase and installation of a Close-Coupled Waste Pulping System. To be SOMAT Model: SPC-50AS HT with tray, HOBART WS-800, or equal. Salient characteristics are as follows: Pulper: hinged lid with limit switch 1/2 inch thick stainless steel slurry chamber, 5 HP ODC direct drive motor, direct drive capacity: 700 pounds per hour food servins, paper, aluminum foil, and cardboard; Hydra-Extractor drive motor mounted to a 20:1 gear reducer, 17 inch long stainless steel discharge chute with limit switch; Chemical additive pump; Valve package: Include prepiped fresh water line for operation, tray flush and drain lines; Discharge chute with hinged lid and limit switch; and control panel with push button station.
