This announcement constitutes the only Solicitation (SOL); proposals are being requested and a written SOL will not be issued. This SOL is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) and this includes all provisions and clauses in effect thru FAC 90-40. This is a Sole Source requirement IAW FAR 6.302-1. This RFP has the following line item: 0001 HG7000 Interferometry Computer and K100/HOL Electronic Holography System including the following: optics breadboard, cover connections & cables, associated manuals, diode-pumped, frequency-doubled YAG laser (100 mv), B/W video printer, color computer printer, coupled frequency generated broad set, two day on-site setup and training. The system will be an aggregate award. Delivery required within 90 days ARO. The following clauses and provisions apply: 52.212-1, 52.212-3 shall be included with any offer, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
