X -- HOTEL SERVICES FOR PEACE CORPS MEDICAL OFFICERS ATTENDING THE 1997 MEDICAL OFFICERS STAFF DEVELOPMENT COURSE DUE 021497 POC Ms. Johnnie Lewis, Purchasing Agent, (202) 606-3224 The Peace Corps is looking for a vendor to lodge their Medical Officer Overseas Staff Development Training participants in May 1997. There will be 15 to 20 conference participants. They will arrive at the contracting site on May 10, 1997 and depart on June 6,1997. The vendor should be between 1 and 10 blocks of 1990 K Street, NW, Washington DC and shall have a hotel atmosphere. The Peace Corps shall not be charged more than the Federal per diem for Washington, DC. This price includes single air co nditioned suite accomodations and breakfast for each staff. A conference room to accomodate 30 participants shall be provided for a total not to exceed 5 times (8 hours a day, U-shape formation). The conference space shall have adequate ventilation, electricity, and lighting and audio-visual equipment. The Peace Corps shall be billed for lodging suites and meals based on occupancy. Selection for award will be based on the lowest price suitable facility as determined by a site visit/evaluation.
