Ko, Contracting Officer (757) 628-4645 Provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform routine Drydock Vessel Maintenance including, but not limited to, the following Minimum Items: 1) Renew: Longitudinal Framing in Main Hold/Deck Plating/Hull Plate/Corrosion Preventive Zinc Anodes/Mess Deck, Galley and Dry Stores Deck Covering. 2) Repair: Fuel Tank/Engineroom Fan Space. 3) Remove, Inspect and Reinstall: Propeller Shaft/Propeller/Rudder. 4) Overhaul Ventilation Fan Motors. 5) Preserve Transducer Hull Ring and Renew Depth Indicating Transducer. 6) Overhaul, Renew and Test Valves. 7) Preserve: Lazarette/Main Hold/Forward Peak Void. 8) Preserve Galley/Crew's Mess Bilges. 9) Clean and Inspect: Fuel Tanks/Sewage and Grey Water Collection and Holding Tank. 10) Provide Temporary Messing/Berthing/Logistics/Routine Drydocking. Indefinite Items include: 1) Welding Repairs. 2) Renew: Stern Tube/Shaft Covering/Water-Lubricated Shaft Bearings/Shaft Sleeve/Overhead and Bulkhead Sheathing in Messdeck, Galley and Dry Stores. 3) Minor Repairand Recondition Propeller. 4) Overhaul, Inspect and Test 4M RHI Boat Hoist. 5) Preserve: Underwater Body/Potable Water Tank. 6) Ultrasonic Testing. Vessels' homeports are Montauk, NY, for USCGC PT WELLS, and Jonesport, ME, for USCGC PT HANNON. Vessel lengths are 82 Foot "C" Class, Patrol Boats. Vessel availability schedules are 12 MAY 1997 for 35 days for USCGC PT WELLS and 04 AUG 1997 for 35 days for USCGC PT HANNON. The place of performance for these vessels is not geographically restricted. There will be a nonrefundable charge of $100.00 required in the form of a certified check or money order payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All other referenced documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA. Funds are not presently available for this procurement. The government's obligation under this solicitation is contingent upon availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contractual purposes can be made. The proposed contract listed here is apart of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and specifications will be issued on or around 25 FEB 1997.
