DMR INDUSTRY CONFERENCE Synopsis No. 17. This is to announce an industry conference on the Digital Modular Radio (DMR). For a description of DMR see CBD announcement #3 of 04 November 1996. The purpose of this conference is to give prospective offerors a description of the DMR program and plans for acquisition. As we intend to procure DMR on a non-developmental basis, we need to determine what industry has to offer. Therefore, we will be giving prospective offerors an opportunity to meet one-on-one with the program office to discuss their products. The conference will be on February 12-14. The first day is set for the government to describe the program followed by a question-and-answer session -- all in a group setting. The one-on-one meetings will be scheduled for the following two days. The conference will be held at the Red Lion Hotel Ballroom, 7450 Hazard Center Drive, San Diego, CA.
