Shutdown, (2) Inspect and Test Cargo Weight Handling Gear, (3) Install
Additional Liferafts Shipalt 180WLB-C-509, (4) Renew Ladder and Hand
Rails in Motor Room, (5) Renew Deck Covering (Top Coat Only) on (7)
Heads For Compts As Listed & P/S Vestibules to Bouy DK. Include
Underlayment For Vestibules Only. (6) Renew Gasoline Storage and
Jettison Facilities, etc. Indefinite items include but are not limited
to the following: (1) Temporary Logistics, (2) Additional Temporary
Logistics (10-Day Period), etc. Vessel's homeport is Galveston, TX.
Work is to be performed at vessel's homepier. Vessel availability
schedule is 28 Apr 97 for 28 days. Vessel is a 180 Foot SLE "P" Class
Seagoing Buoy Tender. All referenced documents are available for
viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA. A charge of
$50.00 is required in the form of a certified check or money order made
payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All businesses,
large and small, are encouraged to submit bids for the subject
requirements. Plans and specifications will be issued on or after 18
FEB 97. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be
considered by the United States Coast Guard. "This Notice is for
