Pricing shall be solicited from three vendors who currently have a BOA under solicitation Agreement 93-417 with NSF. Only one source shall be issued an order. The services are for quality printing of 20,000 copies of a 4-color Perpetual Calendar that consists of cover and base stand, 7 day pages, 31 date pages and 12 month pages. All will be wire-o bound. The proposed contract action if for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete on a "full and open basis" with this proposed contrat action based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement on a full and open basis. This acquisition is under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold and is being procured within the FAR guidelines for Basic Ordering Agreements under $100K. (0027)
