Provide all plant, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, and labor required to perform the work necessary to replace VASI with PAPI light system in accordance with the contract specifications and plans. Work includes but is not limited to: installing an L-880 Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) system, by ADB, Inc. or equal, in accordance with FAA Specification AC 150/5345, AFAR 88-14 and manufacturer s requirements on each end of the two runways. Each system will consist of four (4) identical light units installed on the left side of the runway (as viewed from the approach end) in a line perpendicular to the runway centerline and designed to operate at a constant current of 6.6 amps (six step reguator). Also, remove the existing VASI lighting system. Magnitude is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 14 Feb 97 with a BOD of 18 Mar 97. Project is to be completed within 150 calendar days of the NTP. Packages will be sent upon written request. Requests shall include mailing address, phone number, fax number and size of business. There will be no charge for the solicitation. There will be a limited supply of packages and will be issued on a first come first serve basis until supply is exhausted. This project is open to both Large and Small Businesses and is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. (0022)
