McGovern, 215-656-6894 The work to be performed under this contract will involve repairing the eroded levee toe in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Monroe County. The work will include, but is not limited to, the following: placing geotextile; placing bedding stone (government furnished); resetting existing riprap and placing additional new riprap (government furnished) on the upper area of the slope; placing larger riprap (government furnished) on the slope and at the toe of the slope; excavating, filling and backfilling as necessary to complete work outlined above; and miscellaneous guard rail, gate and chain link fence work at site entrance. Specifications and full size drawings will be furnished at $l5.00 a set. Issue date for the plans and specifications is on/or about 14 February 1997 with a bid opening date of 18 March 1997 at 11:00 a.m. All checks are to be drawin to "FAO, USAED, NORFOLK." All requests should be made in writing to the attention of Mr. Daniel McGovern. A social security number or your Federal Tax Identification Number must be written on your check or money order. All requests must include physical address, telephone number, fax number, point of contact and business size. Payment will not be refunded and specifications need not be returned. Completion for the project is 120 calendar days. Estimated cost range of the project is $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. Award of the contract will be made as a whole to one bidder.
