Y -- NEW VEHICLE MAINTENANCE FACILITY SOL 1448-60181-97-B039 DUE 041797 POC Cathleen Murray, Purchasing Agent, or Tracie Richardson, Contract t Specialist, 303/236-5412 x221 or x229, respectively This is a presolicitation notice to furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to construct a new vehicle maintenance facility at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, located near Brigham City, Utah. Work includes constructing a new 11,100 square foot pre-engineered, clear span, rigid metal frame building. Providing concrete building foundation, floor slab and driveways, utilities, site work, etc... Utilities include a gas-fired radiant heating system, lighting, electrical distribution, plumbing, electrical baseboard heating, domestic water distribution and septic sewer system. Features include 5 ton capacity top-running overhead crane, compressed air system, electrically operated overhead doors and emergency eye wash and shower unit. This project also includes designing and installing a concrete septic dose tank and soil absorption field, and the installation of a Government furnished 350 square foot pre-engineered hazardous material storage building. The solicitation should be available on or about March 17, 1997. The Government Estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered.
