M -- FACILITY MANAGEMENT SERVICES DUE 022897 POC Patricia Bullock Tel: (410) 965-9528 The Social Security Administration intends to negotiate a sole source award to Unico Government Services to continue Consolidated Facilities Management Services at the Harold Washington Social Security Center (HWSSC) located in Chicago, Illinois from March 1, 1997 through June 30, 1997. Unico Government Services, formerly known as Ogden Government services was awarded contract 600-92-0126 on 8/20/92 to provide these services. On February 28, 1997 the contract will expire. Due to a variety of circumstances a new award will not be made until approximately May 1997. It is critical that this facility remain operating during the evaluation and award phase. The Contractor will continue to provide Operation and Maintenance of Mechanical Equipment, Custodial Services, Elevator Maintenance, Security, Sustaining Maintenance, Utilities, and Protective Signaling. The HWSSC is a facility approximately 750 sq.ft. with a population of 2,300. All responsible sources shall respond by submitting a narrative statement ofcapability demonstrating the ability to meet the above requirement and the associated costs. See Note 22. (0022)
