PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: Contractor shall provide all material, equipment, tools, labor, etc., required to perform the work to maintain and repair existing steam/condensate systems or to install new steam/condensate systems on Elmendorf AFB, AK. The work areas are all base steam and condensate utility systems, which includes all pipes, steam pits, valves, and steam and condensate accessories. The work items include, but not limited to: steam and condensate pipe replacement, steam pit piping and accessories replacement, ventilation blowers, sheet metal ductwork and ductwork accessories replacement; electrical wiring replacement; asphalt paving, replace concrete curbs and gutters, replace concrete sidewalks, pavement markings, base course and subbase work and others. Magnitude is more than $10,000,000.00. Solicitation will be made available on or about 18 Feb 97 with a BOD of 18 Mar 97. Project is to be awarded with a 365 day base year and two 365 day option years. Package will be sent upon written request.
