Baber, (501)321-5204 Perform cadastral surveys of National Forest lands located in rural areas of the Ouachita National Forest, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Estimated quantities of work to be performed include approximately 30 corner searches, 30 miles of tie line, 41 corners monumented, 30 corners maintained, 10 miles of boundary line location, marking and posting and 6 plats and reports. To be considered, an SF-254 (Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire) an SF-255 (Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for Special Project) and a narrative technical proposal for providing legally defensible boundary location and one exhibit each of a land corner perpetuation record and section subdivision property line survey plat must be submitted to the address shown in number seven above. Evaluation factors to be considered are as follows: (1) The firm's capacity, technical competence, and qualifications for satisfactory performance of the project. (2) Specialized qualifications and experience of key personnelincluding technical skills, project coordination, and management skills. (3) Past performance on contracts performed in rural, wooded, mountainous terrain similar to the project areas, with Government agencies and/or private firms in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules. (4) Knowledge of local surveying historical practices, records repositories, and land ownership patters. (5) Proximity of the firm to the local project areas. Individual delivery orders will be placed under the contract beginning in early spring. Prospective Contractors may request to be considered for award of work to be performed in Arkansas only, Oklahoma only or both Arkansas and Oklahoma. Contract period will be April 1, 1997 through March 30, 1998 with two (2) additional one-year option periods. (0017)
