Department of Commerce/NOAA intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Travelware, 6955 South Union Park Center, Suite 420, Midvale, VA 22021, for the purchase of TravelWare Frequent Flyer Travel Management System software and services. This windows- based software will be utilized in support of the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration to provide account management (i.e., tracking of bonuses, monitoring awards, managing certificates and tickets redeemed, and reconciling accounts), as well as easy access to comparative, up to date frequency program information. The software frequent flyer management system must be functional with the United Airlines APOLLO and American SABRE systems. Interested vendors are requested to submit documentation and pricing that substantiates their ability to meet the stated requirement. No solicitation document exists, requests for such a document will be considered non-responsive. No telephonic requests will be honored, written responses only. If a solicitation is issued, a second synopsis will not be published. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days of publication of this notice, the Government intends to negotiate with TravelWare in accordance with FAR Part 12 procedures. (0018)
