Potential Source Sought. The Engineering Logistic Center is seeking qualified sources that can supply PCMAS Console CCA's for the 110' WPB Vessels. The items consists of: NSN 5998-01-357-1238, relay card (p/n FS700400V), NSN 5998-01-386-2710, motherboard with children (p/n DD880221), NSN 5998-01-357-1579, backplane assembly, motherboard (p/n DZ880103V), NSN 5998-01-GL3-5780, analog input childboard (DA619921V), NSN 5998-01-LG3-5781, digital input childboard (DD429901V), NSN 5998-01-432-7637, analog out childboard, (DA639901V), NSN 599801-432-7677, Digital output childboard (p/n DD409901V). A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. Vosper Thornycroft UK LT, original equipment manufacturer, which is distributed in the U.S. by Chand Corporation, 157 Highway 654, Mathews, LA 70375. It is the Government's belief that only Vosper Thornycroft/Chand Corporation can fulfill this requirement since they have all the engineering draw~ings, specifications s~alient characteristics ~~which would ensure the proper form, fit and function. However, other organizations that can show that they have access or can obtain access to the technical data relating to the subject characteristics are required to provide complete information discussing their capabilities as follows: (i.e., salient physical, functional and serviceability, characteristics) (1) Show that they have satisfactorily manufactured the part for the Government or the prime equipment manufacturer; or (2) submit complete and current engineering data comparing the offered parts to the OEM's to demonstrate the acceptability of the parts. Organizations having the capabilities and expertise required are invited to submit complete detailed information discussing their capabilities in duplicate within fifteen (15) days of this announcement. No cost or pricing data is required. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government does not intend to pay for the information solicited. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement mentioned above. Concerns that respond to the notice must fully demonstrate their capabilities to meet the requirements.
