Apperson, Phone (703)604-0757 The Naval Air System Command intends to issue a modication to procure Phase 1A of the incorporation of Automatic Target Acquisition capability into the Standoff Land Attack Missile (SLAM) from McDonnell Douglas Corporation, McDonnell Douglas Aerospace (MDA), Cruise Missiles, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516. Phase 1A will be procured as a modification to delivery order 0012 under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-94-G-0125. As the sole designer, developer, and producer of the SLAM weapon system, MDA is the only known source capable of providing this effort. See note No. 22 -- NAVAIR Synopsis No. 40005-97. (0009)
