The work will include the following: (Approx. quantities) BUILDINGS 7504 AND 7506: Reroute 122 LF of floor drains, DRAINAGE AREA NOS. 4, 6, 9, 10 12, 18, 20 AND 22: Regrade and riprap 700 LF of ditch, Regrade and riprap 1575 LF of drainage channel, and Regrade 600 LF of drainage channel, HAZMAT FACILITY: 96 feet x 30 feet preenginered metal building with concrete floor sloped to a spill containment pit and 6-inch high perimeter curb, CIVIL ENGINEERING OPERATIONS BUILDING: 40 feet x 40 feet CMU building (Eave height at 16 feet) with standing seam metal roof on steel deck and trusses, concrete floor and 6-inch high perimeter curb. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $1,000.000 and $2,500,000. Contractor's Quality Control will be a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 365 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case offailure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bid sets will be available on/a February 4, 1997. Half-size plans and specifications will be furnished upon request. All requests for solicitation packages should be made in writing no later than 14 days prior to bid opening. After such time, packages will be furnished if supply is available. It has been determined that the number of sets be limited to 1 (one) per firm (additional copies will be the responsibility of the requestor).
