The government intends to award on a sole source basis, a purchase order to Bennett's Environmental Systems for the following: 1. Disassemble two (2) de-humidifier systems; disassemble two (2) humidifier systems; remove two (2) evaporators, disassemble two (2) heater assemblies from the evaporators; remove refrigerant cooling and oil and dispose per EPA regulations; disassemble two (2) climatic chambers, package above equipment and transport to new location (about 5 miles); reassemble above equipment in new building; provide new refrigerant; start up and check system operation. Electrical hookup to new electrical pad to be performed by others. 2. Upgrades to the climatic chambers: furnish and install two (2) airlock chambers with transfer fans and pressure relief; furnish and install six (6) cable pass-throughs and one (1) 14" x 14" heated window; install six (6) 1900 watt heaters; install two (2) duct thermostats in supply de-humidifier ducts; furnish and install hot gas by-pass on de-humidifier pre-coolers; furnish and install a 8HP condensing unit with two (2) evaporators and heaters; install drain heater on 2nd evaporator; install 6HP condenser to warm chamber; replace rusted fan guards on existing evaporators; replace rusted ceiling grid assembly. Anticipated award date of contract is 97 Jan 31. Quotations must be received no later then 12:00 noon PST on 97 Jan 28. Award will be based on evaluation of responsive, responsible quotations received in response to this CBD advertisement. Competitive awards may be based on the evaluation criteria stipulated in NRaD Blue Ribbon Vendor Program (BRVP) provisions or the Red, Yellow, Green (RYG) Contractor Evaluation System.
