The United States Agency for International Development's Regional Economic Development Services Offices for East and Southern Africa (REDSO/ESA), anticipates the award of a travel services contract to provide a full range of travel agent services in support of official U.S. Government travelers assigned to USAID offices and the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya. The total value of official travel is estimated between $2 million and $2.5 million annually. Individual travel will be requested through Government Transportation Requests (GTRs) and travel authorizations (TAs). The initial contract award is anticipated to be 1 year with four one year options for a total of 5 years. USAID encourages the participation to the maximum extend possible of small businesses in this activity. The RFP issuance date is expected to be no earlier than 15 days following publication of this notice. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after RFP issuance. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or by request of a solicitation on a 3.5" floppy disk (WordPerfect 5.1/5.2 format).
