The Carderock Division Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Physical Electronics to provide hardware/software maintenance on a Physical Electronics manufactured Photoelectron Spectrometer, Model 5400 and a Scanning Auger Microscope, Model 590. The maintenance to cover preventative, remedial/emergency and per call maintenance of all equipment during PPM. Fixed monthly charges for maintenance include labor, replacement parts, test equipment, calibration,optics repair,technical telephone support, software upgrades, travel and transportation to and from the site and other expenses necessary to keep both systems fully functional.
