R -- SPONSORSHIP/IN KIND DONATIONS FOR THE YOUTH CENTER BICYCLE RODEO SOL SVS-SCS-105-96 DUE 050597 POC Shani Johnson, (907) 552-5900, FAX (907) 552-9250. We are soliciting in-kind donations or sponsorship for the Youth Centers Bike Rodeo/Safety Course to be held on May 17, 1997. The event is open to military youth and teaches them important information about bicycle safety and usage. We are asking for sponsorship/in-kind donations of $500.00 to cover the expenses of this event. We are requesting the following items, 4 bikes, 100 hot dogs and buns. We would accept part or all of the items requested, depending on the sponsor and what they can provide. The sponsor will be allowed to display banners and information at the event. Advertising in all areas on the base will be done. Representation from the sponsor for the event drawings will also be accepted and encouraged. All offers will be considered. More than one sponsor/donation may be accepted and additives will be considered. Requests for copies of this solicitation must be received not later than 05 May 1997. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship/donation by a nonappropriated fund instrumentality of the United States Government. It does not obligate appropriated funds of the Government.
