The VA Medical Center, Grand Island, Nebraska is soliciting for Grounds Maintenance for approximately 21 acres. Contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, fuels, cleaning materials, supplies and supervision necessary to perform grounds maintenance service. Work includes but not limited to mowing, trimming, edging, policing trash, tree pruning, tree trimming, soil tests, fertilizing, weed control, lawn insect and disease control, leaf removal, pruning of shrubs and ground cover. Contractor's employees responsible for work will need to be certified and have all required State of Nebraska and Local licenses to perform the necessary work. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the work statement. Contract period will be one year from date of award plus two option years.
