871010E, Model 623-S, OR EQUAL. Quantity twenty-six (26) each, used on
the 180' WLB Buoy Tender Boom Systems. Blocks shall have triple 18"
diameter sheaves grooved for 7/8" (.88) wire rope; heavy oval pattern;
45 ton capacity (90,000 lbs.). Block material shall be steel overall.
Block shall be complete with side plates and spacer plate between each
sheave. Shackle shall not be included with the block. Overall Block
measurements shall be: Side plate width 18", Block thickness 12.34"
nominal, Height 28" nominal. Bottom load bearing spacer bolt shall be
2.5" diameter. Top spacer bolt shall have a minimum safe working limit
of 12,000 lbs. Sheaves shall be equipped with roller bearings and
grease seals. Bearing shall have both inner and outer race and shall be
sized to for the 3.94" main shaft. Sheave hub width shall be 2.875".
Delivery shall be approximately 120 days after date of contract award.
Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to Coast Guard Engineering
Logistics Center, Receiving Room, Bldg. #86, 2401 Hawkins Point Road,
Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. All responsible sources may submit a
quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Request for
Quotation will include a requirement to submit technical information
adequate to ensure the item they are offering is equal to Crosby
McKissick part number as reference within this notice. This Notice is
for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged
Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of
Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to
