Under authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 the Government intends to procure residential facilities for patient lodging and their families from Children's Inn at NIH, 7 West Dr., Bethesda, MD for a basic twelve month period with four full option years ending 5/31/02. Services shall provide a minimum of thirty-six (36) private bedrooms with carpet, two (2) community style kitchens, library, living, dining, and family room, bathing facilities, laundry area, quiet room, and recreational spaces. When necessary the contractor must have capabilities to accommodate guests with impaired physical abilities. No other housing is available within .3 miles of the Clinical Center on the NIH campus in Bethesda, MD. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
