work includes providing all labor, management, supervision, tools,
materials, equipment, incidental engineering and transportation
necessary to perform all electrical, mechanical, structural and testing
requirements for comprehensive maintenance, repairs, alterations,
installation, replacement and inspections of any single and or
combination of parts and or components of plumbing systems, heating
systems (including low pressure steam piping systems), condensate
pumps, sump pumps, booster pumps, booster pumps, fire hydrants and
water distribution (fresh and salt water), sewage and storm water
systems and related utility systems and equipment at the Norfolk Naval
Shipyard and its annexes. All work to be accomplished by means of a
Combination Firm Fixed Price and Indefinite Quantity type contract. The
contract term shall be for a period of one year. The Government shall
have the option to extend the term of the contract services for
additional periods of one to twelve months. The total contract
term,including exercise of any options, shall not exceed 60 months.
Plans and specifications will be made available on or about 21 January
1997. The proposed procurement listed herein is 100% set-aside for
small business concerns. The Standard Industrial Classification Code
